Since I can remember, I have had a passion and the creativity for design. When I was young, my favourite subject was Art, and I was the top student in my class. I decided to follow my dreams in my secondary education, and I took the Bachelor of Interior Design program at Ryerson University. Not long after I graduated, I got married and started a family.
After taking some time off to care for my family and my two beautiful children, I now feel it is time for me to pursue my passion and creativity for design. I became a Certified UltimateStager™ and Certified Ultimate Decorator & ReDesigner™, at Ultimate Academy®.
I am now ready to take this new and exciting adventure head-on and pave the way to my dream career!
I had the opportunity to put into practice of designing and building my very own home. From a piece of land that we bought through a builder, I designed everything from ground up. I conveyed my ideas on to paper, planning the function and the flow of the space for the entire home. With the program AutoCAD, I drafted my floor plans and dimensioned every inch of the house. With my 2D floor plans, I extruded everything into 3D floor plan to have a better visualization of the entire outlook of our house. I also added details to dimensioning our custom built-in kitchen, mudroom, and fireplace cabinetries to maximize the storage spaces. After the entire designing and building process, my floorplan design was recognized by a reputable builder in London, Ontario. He uses my floorplan and builts it for his clients! It was definitely a flattering recognition!
My background as an Interior Designer has helped sharpen my perspective in space planning. I can visualize the potential of each space, and this has helped me to build a solid foundation in the Home Staging industry.
I love to create beautiful spaces and feel a sense of accomplishment. I enjoy being able to help people while doing something I love. I take pride in providing exceptional service, and nothing makes me happier than when one of my clients refers me to their friends and loved ones.
